Recent Hyatt Place Airport Review: "Benefits: * Airport Shuttle - there were no cars available my first evening in El Paso, so the shuttle from airport to hotel then back to pick up a car later was extremely helpful. * Breakfast - So nice to have breakfast included! * Fridge - I love having a refrigerator in the room. It's convenient to keep my own bottled water and diet cokes and not have to fool with an ice machine as often. *Separated living room and bedroom. There was an attractive half wall separating the bed from the sofas / sink/fridge area. Not having a car the first night, I was "stuck" in my room. It was very nice feeling like I was more in an apartment than a hotel room. The TV swivels, so it can be watched in either. * Clean - I walked by another room that was being cleaned and saw the housekeeping lady on her hands and knees scrubbing the carpet. The ottoman was blocking my view of what she was scrubbing, but the scene made me feel the staff does more than rehang the towel and make the bed. * Wi-Fi - it was FREE! It's an additional charge in most of the hotels in which I stay. * Parking - it was also free. I get sick of valet. I would honestly rather park myself (assuming the walk is reasonable) and have whenever-access to my car without having to go through the valet staff. Sounds cheap, but I also tire of feeling the need to tip them all the time. So some of these things are small and seem insignificant. However, I travel every week and spend as much time in hotels as my own house. It doesn't take long for the little things to mean a lot. Do realize that this hotel is close to the airport and not downtown. So know it could add an extra ten minutes or so to a drive anywhere BUT to the airport. It does make catching an earlier flight a lot easier, so you may be grateful the morning of!"
